Patient Information Webinars
CancerCare Manitoba has a Patient and Family Resource Centre that is a quiet place for patients and families to relax and find information about cancer, treatments and support services. The Centre provides you with a broad selection of pamphlets, booklets, magazines, and newsletters free of charge, as well as a lending library of books, CDs and DVDs on cancer types and cancer-related topics. They also have information on support services and programs such as counselling, support groups, home care, and many other professional and community resources. If you can’t visit the centre, you can call them at 204-787-4357 if you live in Winnipeg or toll-free at 1-866-561-1026 and ask for the Patient and Family Resource Centre. Information can be given over the phone or mailed home. The centre is located on the main floor at the CancerCare Manitoba MacCharles Site - follow the glass wall corridor.
